Forklift Training
Overview
Forklift incidents are among the leading causes of injury in workplaces that use powered industrial trucks, making proper operator training a critical part of any safety program. New Wave Safety provides hands-on forklift training designed to meet OSHA's requirements for powered industrial truck operation under 29 CFR 1910.178. Training combines classroom instruction with a practical evaluation completed on your own equipment, helping operators build the real-world skills needed to work safely and confidently on the job. We offer two versions of forklift training: certification for day-to-day operators, and a train-the-trainer program for companies that want to manage certification internally.

Forklift Operator Training — $100 Per Person
This training includes both a classroom portion and a hands-on evaluation completed on your equipment. Participants learn safe operating practices, hazard awareness, and practical skills needed for day-to-day operation. The program is designed to meet OSHA requirements for powered industrial truck operator training and evaluation.
Forklift Train-the-Trainer — $500 Per Person
This program prepares supervisors or designated personnel to deliver forklift operator training internally. Training includes OSHA regulations and requirements, instructor guidance, training materials, and support in developing effective hands-on evaluations. Participants leave with the tools and confidence needed to train and evaluate operators in accordance with OSHA standards.
